The airport is located on the main motorway network and served by a variety of public transport - all of which operate with quality and frequency. By road the junction 28 of the M8 motorway gives the best access and the airport is 20 minutes drive from Glasgow itself. By Bus, a regular bus service operates from Glasgow city centre and Edinburgh to the airport. By Taxi, is a short 20-25 minute journey to Glasgow centre at a cost of 15 GBP. By rail, there is no railway station at the airport with the nearest one being just over 2 miles away in Paisley - which has connections to Glasgow as well as the Ayr and the Clyde coast.
