The largest city in Yorkshire, Leeds is famed for its shopping, nightlife and universities. To add that, all these can be found in a city filled with some of the most beautiful architecture from the last couple of centuries. There is plenty to do in the city as well, with various museums, including the Royal Armoury, art galleries, and Tropical World – an indoor menagerie, ideal for a rainy day. Not to mention the indoor winder sports centre, Xscape, as well as the cathedral, the shopping areas, the gardens and theatres.

The bus service in Leeds is reliable and regular, however the city centre is easy to walk through and maps are easily available at the tourist information centres and some attractions. There is a lot to do and see around the city. If you are stuck for somewhere to go, why not try: - The Royal Armouries Museum, on Clarence Dock, which is famous for its regular live jousts. - Millennium Square, home of beautiful architecture and usually playing host to concerts, exhibitions and other such things. - The Corn Exchange, on Vicar Lane, one of Leeds' most attractive shopping centres. - Harwood House, to the north of the city, is a beautiful Stately Home and Gardens. - St Anne's Cathedral, on Cookridge Street
