Any time of the year is a good time to visit Toronto, because it has a relatively mild climate. The winters can be a little cold, but in general, they are not too bad, although snow can fall anytime between the months of November and April, but somehow this just adds to the atmospherics of the city. In the summer months, from about May till August, the temperatures can often be around 25 celsius. The skyline in Toronto is simply stunning and one of the best ways to see it is from the Lake, where you can go on a cruise and just soak up the wonderful views and sights of such a magnificent place. The CN Tower, which dominates the skyline is an amazing 553 metres high and is surpassed only by the Burj in Dubai in terms of height. The views from the tower are also incredible. There is so much to see and do here, with many different museums and art galleries, as well as the famous Toronto Zoo, which is home to over 460 species and a total of 5000 animals. One of the most recent attractions is the Ontario Science Centre, which has a whole range of interactive exhibits and ways you can learn about science through play. It is great for little kids, as well as grown up kids! If you are lucky enough to be in Toronto for the International Film Festival, then you may just spot some stars out to dine in this area.
