There are luxury hotels and well-known International chains, boutique hotels and inexpensive hotels, frequented by backpackers.

Local Airports In Bangkok

Known as the City of Angels, Bangkok is famous for its stunning marble temples and statues of Buddha, such as the reclining Buddha located at Wat Pho Temple or the Emerald Buddha Temple at the Grand Palace. You can also quench your shopping thirst by visiting Bangkok's numerous shopping districts. For a taste of Chinatown, go to Yommarat right at the heart of the city. This is a popular daytime market area. Head east and you will find the city's main shopping district, Siam Square, where you will find boutiques, shops, cafes and clubs. Don't forget to drop by Hard Rock Cafe and the malls that surround Siam Square! Come nighttime, you should check out Patpong Night Bazaar, which is home to roadside stores of souvenirs, knickknacks and clothing. For a taste of Bangkok's nightlife, walk around the city and drink in all the lights and excitement this city has to offer! Pick the bar that fits your mood, from exotic, to dancing, to relaxed open bars. You can also check out the Thermae, one of the oldest night venues of the city that is patronized by locals for its unusual ambience. Experience the best by visiting the establishments near the hotels to be treated to great musical performances. Also try Nana Entertainment Plaza and Nana Disco as well as Soi Cowboy located at Sukhumvit Road. The city is a bustling urban center but there are several parks and green spaces to escape the busy streets. Bangkok is, in fact, the 22nd most populated city in the world and an important center for financial services. Here are a few things to try when visiting this gloriously contrasting city. You should visit the temples and breathe in the cultural feast that this city thrives on. Try riding the boat bus that goes around the Bangkok canals to get a different point of view. You could also try the motorized pedicabs called TUK for a cheap thrill. Check out the archaic buildings, reminiscent of Bangkok's past. Feel the contrasts of this city's beauty and modernity. Don't forget to take as many pictures as you can and bring home good memories of the city called Bangkok.
