Dubai International Airport is expected to set a new record for passengers in 2013. This goes again the perception that Dubai has seen falling numbers after the financial crisis. The operator in Dubai expects 66 million passengers to pass through Dubai in 2013, up from 56 million in 2012. The airport has seen double-digit growth in all but 2 months of 2012, which is good for Emirates Airlines, who calls Dubai International home. The airport is also ready for the A380 and has also built a new concourse (Concourse A), which will allow it to handle the new passengers expected in 2013.
