Consider Croatia When Traveling on Budget

Croatia is an excellent option for those travelers who would like to travel overseas, but not spend excessive amounts of money. According to Meri Matesic, who is the director of the Croatian National Tourist Board in London, traveling outside the 'eurozone' has become increasingly popular among Britons during the past two years. This is evidently due to the falling value of the pound. Ms. Matesic stated that the country's own currency, the kuna, allows eating, drinking, lodging and sightseeing in Croatia to be less expensive than other locations. The major cities of Dubrovnik, Split and Zadar are recommended sites to visit along Croatia's Adriatic coast.
