Thomson adds Cuba to 2010 programme

Thomson Travel will operate new weekly Cuba flights as part of its long-haul programme for 2010. Flights will run from Gatwick to Varadaro and from Manchester to Holguin. Thomson's winter 2009 programme will see a new Maldives and Kerala twin-centre package as part of Thomson's Faraway Shores programme, which will include 16 holiday destinations altogether. Twin-centre holidays in the Dominican Republic will make it possible for holidaymakers to combine a week in the lesser-known southern part of the island with a week spent in the north. New hotel options have also been added for Aruba, the Dominican Republic, Goa, the Maldives and Mexico. Flights will be available from seven UK airports, including Bristol, East Midlands, Gatwick, Glasgow, Manchester and Newcastle. The ‘Kids Eat Free' package will be available at nearly 50 area restaurants In the Orlando area in Florida. Thomson Travel has also redesigned its brochures to feature a new cover style and added hotel concept and resort pages that showcase the range of holidays on offer. A seven-night stay in Florida at an Econo lodge Inn & Suites Starts at £599 per person, based on double occupancy, on a room-only basis. Departures are available from 13 May 2010.
