Sunday 01 Feb 2009 4:39pm

The regional subsidiary of bmi has launched a new schedule of flights from Birmingham Airport to Aberdeen. Bmi regional will operate three daily flights from March 29th, making it the most frequent operator on the route. The regional airline will take the service over from bmibaby, another bmi subsidiary, to satisfy customer demand and offer 'maximum flexibility and choice' to business and leisure travellers. Bmi regional commercial director, Peter Kenworthy, said that the airline was 'delighted' to announce its first route from Birmingham Airport to Aberdeen and expects that the service will be popular for business and leisure customers. Mr Kenworthy added: 'The new service will also provide connectivity at Aberdeen to bmi and Star Alliance flights to Scandinavia. ' Bmi regional is reportedly the UK's best airline for punctuality, and offers flights from airports including East Midlands Airport, Leeds-Bradford Airport and Manchester Airport.
