Airbus A380 superjumbo to fly from London to Singapore

Singapore Airlines took the delivery of the first and second Airbus A380 superjumbo plane with the first being delivered last in 2007 and currently flies the Singapore to Sydney route. The second plane was delivered in January 2008 and has been reported that it will start flying from London Heathrow to Singaporefrom March 18th this year. The A380 is the biggest commercial aircraft in the world and easily capable of carrying over 400 people on two decks. The new plane will provide a daily service from London to Singapore with the plane leaving Heathrow at 18:55 and arriving in Singapore at 15:35. On its return flight, it will leave Singapore at 09:00 and arrive in London at 15:05. Singapore AIrlines has won numerous awards for its cabin products and high quality inflight entertainment. Passengers already booked onto the London to Singapore route with the airline will automatically have their tickets transfered to the new A380 aircraft.
