British Airways confirms new flights to Las Vegas

Monday 24 Aug 2009 6:59am

British Airways has confirmed it will launch new flights from London Heathrow to Las Vegas this year. The flights will commence on October 25 and initially run at one a day. A Boeing 777 aircraft offering three classes, (including a new Club World business class service with fully flat seats), will transport passengers. 'We know how to fly high rollers in style and we will be the only airline to fly non-stop from Terminal 5. It is the ace in our pack and we are going to play it for all it's worth,' Richard Tams, British Airways' head of UK and Ireland sales said. 'Despite the difficult global economic conditions, Las Vegas represents new business and growth opportunities for BA as we continue our commitment to invest in our customers,' He added. Las Vegas will be the carrier's 19th destination in the US, joining cities including New York, Miami, Los Angeles and Chicago.
