SkyEurope announce 11 new destinations across Europe

Bulgaria is becoming a very popular destination across Europe and SkyEuope has confirm plans to develop the Bulgarian market in the coming months. With passenger numbers to and from Bulgaria expected to reach 150,000 SkyEurope will be operating increased number of flights to Vienna - starting at the end of October. The number of flights will increase to twice daily. SkyEurope have also announced new routes between Sofia and 11 other major destinations across Europe. These include Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris, Nice, Venice, Innsbruck, Warsaw, Krakow, Athens, Thessaloniki and Bratisalava. Karim Makhlouf, CCO of SkyEurope said [Quote] "The launch of the double daily flights between Sofia and Vienna reflects our strategy to focus on developing of a business tailored and lifestyle product, whilst keeping our price leadership on the market. SkyEurope will stop the monopoly position of Austrian Airlines in Bulgaria and will offer top quality services, tailor made to the business travellers needs. We are democratizing air travel and stimulating people to fly more while liberalizing the market between Sofia and Vienna. SkyEurope is already the preferred airline on this route. Our target is to offer affordable travel to the most attractive fashion European destinations such as Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels, Nice, Venice, and Innsbruck and to offer very comfortable connections to Poland and Greece from Sofia. Bulgaria is one of the key markets for SkyEurope and we are willing to develop Sofia as our future base".
