Tomorrow on 21st May, easyJet will be having a 10 year birthday party as it celebrates providing 10 years of cheap flights from Stansted Airport. The original brand that easyJet flew under was 'Go' which merged into easyJet in 2002, but the airline has greatly expanded its operations from Stansted since. The first flight was from London's Stansted to Rome in Italy and today the airline offers many more destinations including Glasgow, Copenhagen, Prague and many more. Passengers are spoilt for choice of where to fly to with many destinations within a few hours flight from the airport. With Ryanair offering flights from as little as £20 one-way including taxes, European travel is available to all. easyJet's UK general manager, said: 'The way we travel has dramatically changed over the last ten years. Now, more people than ever before have the opportunity to fly thanks to our affordable fares to key destinations across the UK and Europe. ' easyJet and rival airline Ryanair have played a key role in opening up affordable travel across the whole of Europe - improving tourism across Europe.
