Ryanair and easyjet battle continues with Ryanair winning online

Ryanair's free flight sale and offer has proved extremely popular and this has resulted in the airline beating easjet to the top of the chart for commercial airlines. Easyjet normally fill the top slot of popular airline websites but the role reversed when Ryanair's free flight sales was in progress (from 16th May to 21st May 2007). Easyjet were back in the number one slot after launching their sale - causing a 40% increase in traffic to their website.
