East Midlands set to get a new hotel

Premier Inn developer plans a hotel near the East Midlands Airport with over 216 roomsThe same company responsible for the Travelodge development and the Premier Inn will undertake the growth of a band new hotel near the East Midlands Airport. Expected to be thrown open to the public in around 18 months time, this hotel will have 216 bedrooms, a complete bar and restaurant, conference rooms, eight executive suites and even an exercise room, a swimming pool, a steam room and a sauna. Construction of the airport hotel will be handled by MAG Developments, the same company responsible for developments in other exclusive parts of the country. Says Penny Coates the managing director of East Midlands Airport, 'At present, we already have connections with over 100 destinations and serve millions of customers around the globe. This new service hotel will help in ensuring that the airport has all the necessary facilities in place to offer a place for continued development. ' At present only three hotels viz. Express by Holiday Inn, The Thistle and the Hilton are available at the East Midlands Airport. The new edifice of MAG Developments will be constructed in such a manner as to ensure a reduction in the overall emissions of CO2 and will be a welcome addition to the 1,500 beds that are available at other UK travel stations such as the Manchester Airport, Humberside Airport, Bournemouth Airport and East Midlands Airport
