Silverjet continues to make grounds with its exclusive business class service from London Luton Airport. It has just entered into a letter of intent to acquire two new Boeing planes with ThomsonFly Ltd. The new aircraft will be delivered in March 2008, and of the extended range aircraft - allowing them to fly up to 6000 miles without refueling. The existing London Luton to New York route is well within the range of these new aircraft (with a second daily flight starting in Summer 2007) and the long range of these aircraft also bring destinations such as west coast USA, South Africa, China, India and Mauritius within reach. Its not known yet which routes these new aircraft will fly on, but Silverjet is currently considering 30 routes which these new aircraft could operate on. In May 2007, Silverjet business class travel carried 3628 passengers with a load factor of just over 62%. In April 2007, Silverjet carried 3452 passengers with a load of just less than 62% capacity. Operating from London Luton Airport, Silverjet specialise in business class only flights - meaning they don't have to subsidise
