GB Airways routes on sale through easyJet

Wednesday 02 Jan 2008 9:14am

Back in October 2007, easyJet bought GB Airways - the British Airways franchise. GB Airways currently operate 32 routes from Gatwick and Manchester and Heathrow airports. The 32 GB Airways routes for Summer 2008 (which starts in March 2008) are now on sale from the easyJet website. These routes include destinations including Turkey, Spain, Corfu, Sharm El Sheik and the Canary Islands. In the run-up to end of March 2008, easyJet will operate a code-share agreement with British Airways allowing them to continue to fly the BA Franchise routes until 29th March. British Airways have terminated the sale of any flights post 30th March 2008. Any customers having already booked flights beyond March 2008 with GB Airways are expected to be able to fly under the easyJet brand.
