Wednesday 02 Dec 2009 8:03am

No-frills airline easyJet will offer four flights a week to the Finnish capital, Helsinki, from Manchester Airport, starting next spring. easyJet has also added a fourth aircraft to the fleet of planes it operates from Manchester Airport, which will increase capacity on its summer flight schedule to sun holiday destinations including Cyprus, Alicante, Tenerife and Athens. Once the new Helsinki flights begin, easyJet will run a total of 16 routes from Manchester. The airline's other destinations include Copenhagen, Marrakech, Corsica, Geneva and Munich. All easyJet's flights depart from Terminal 3 at Manchester Airport. In other easyJet news, its services from Liverpool John Lennon Airport are also expanding. A twice-weekly service will serve travellers from the north-west airport to Malta, from June 2010. A new easyJet Airbus A320 arrived at Liverpool Airport earlier this month to begin operating services to Lanzarote and Fuerteventura.
