Virgin Atlantic flights cancelled on some days in January 2008

The union that Virgin Atlantic cabin crew are members of have called for industrial action on four days in January - which will have an affect on flights. At the time of writing, the affected dates are 9th, 10th, 16th and 17th January 2008. Although Virgin Atlantic will operate the majority of their services, the following flights in January will be cancelled. 10, 11, 17, 18 - New York JFK to London Heathrow 9, 10, 16, 17 - Chicago to London Heathrow 9,10 - Boston to London Heathrow 16, 17 - Nairobi to London Heathrow 9, 10, 16, 17 - London Heathrow to New York JFK 9, 10, 16, 17 - London Heathrow to Chicago 9,10 - London Heathrow to Boston 16, 17 - London Heathrow to Nairobi If you have already booked tickets on any of these flights, Virgin are rebooking passengers onto alternative dates or on the same day, different flight if possible. If you booked your flight direct with Virgin, they will be in contact with you before 1st January 2008. If you booked via a travel agent, please go back to them to arrange alternative flights.
