Switzerland-based airline Swiss has enlisted the culinary talents of chef Pierre-Andre Ayer to design new menus for its business and first class customers. Pierre-Andre Ayer is one of Switzerland's most famous chefs, who currently works at Le Perolles, an award-winning restaurant. The Ayer-inspired menu will be enjoyed until the end of November by premium travellers flying to intercontinental destinations from Switzerland and on selected return flights. Delicacies such as pumpkin mousse with aubergine caviar and champignons duxelle as an amuse-bouche, and main courses such as roast fillet of venison with a quince and ginger jus will be available for the delectation of first class passengers. Business class passengers will be able to sample starters including a pumpkin and goose liver terrine, and main courses like a haunch of lamb with potato puree, botsi pears and green beans. For those who prefer to savour culinary excellence once they have actually reached their holiday destination, Swiss fly to food hotspots including Paris, Rome and Barcelona.
