Airline body attacks security at UK Airports

IATA (the International Air Transport Association) have attacked security at UK airports citing that it does not improve security and only increases inconvenience for passengers. IATA specifically mention that BAA, owner of several UK airports, continues to deliver embarassingly low service levels because they have failed to invest in the necessary equipment and staff to meet demand. The UK is the only country in the world to impose a one piece of hand luggage restriction and IATA's criticism is related to this restriction - even though it has been introduced by the UK government.
