British Airways to start London City to Dublin service

Friday 25 Apr 2008 2:42pm

Starting on June 1st, British Airways will start a three-times a day service between London City Airport and Dublin in Ireland. The service will operate under BA's CityFlyer brand and is part of improved services that BA are offering from London City airport after implementing many improvements at the city airport - which include free W-fi and improved departure lounge. Peter Simpson from BA's CityFlyer service said [quote] "Dublin is an important new route, linking two financial capitals and we are delighted to be able to offer a three-a-day service in direct response to passenger demand". British Airways also announced that from September is plans to increase the frequency of flights from London City to Nice and Edinburgh. Elsewhere in the British Airways empire, service at Heathrow's Terminal 5 is getting better and BA staff both public facing and behind the scenes are working hard to ensure a smooth a reliable service for passengers. As previously reported, British Airways have put on hold any further migration of flights to Terminal 5 at Heathrow until operations are running properly - rather than compound any problems by moving flights there early.
