American Airlines has announced a new selection of inflight meals featuring a range of local flavours for first and business class passengers on its Caribbean flights. Starting this week, American Airlines will serve Caribbean delicacies to its first and business class passengers on an alternating monthly basis. In creating the new menu, American Airlines sought the expertise of Cindy Hutson from the popular Florida restaurant Ortanique. The carrier's vice president of onboard service Lauri Curtis said: 'We are excited to offer our premium class customers refreshed menu options created in collaboration with Cindy Hutson, as these new additions fulfill the commitment of American Airlines commitment to enhance the travel experience for our customers. ' Some of the choices available to American Airlines' Caribbean-bound passengers includes pork tenderloin with spices and sweet potato, guava barbecue salmon, east Indian chicken and east Indian pork. American Airlines offers flights to a number of Caribbean destinations, including Aruba, Barbados and Montego Bay.
