Leeds Bradford Airport to give customers parking discounts

Friday 02 Jan 2009 7:23am

Leeds-Bradford Airport has announced a package of what it describes as its own 'credit-crunching reductions' in the form of long-stay car parking discounts as a response to the financial reforms outlined in last week's pre-Budget report. The Yorkshire airport has introduced a promotion offering discounts of up to 20 per cent for customers who pre-book their long-stay parking spaces on the internet. Tony Hallwood, commercial and aviation director at Leeds-Bradford Airport, described the hub as 'the consumer's champion', adding that it is 'giving something back' to its customers with the parking reductions. Mr Hallwood added: 'We now offer two great long-stay products for passengers booking online who want the peace of mind and convenience of parking onsite at Leeds Bradford international airport. 'A fully flexible package which allows you to make amendments to your booking, or a non-flexible package that saves you even more. ' Customers planning to fly from Leeds-Bradford Airport can now book car parking spaces over the internet up to 24 hours prior to their stated departure time. Leeds-Bradford Airport hosts flights to destinations including Amsterdam and Glasgow, and is served by airlines including bmi and KLM. The airport also offers connections to cruise services operated by P&O Cruises.
