Mini-Guide To Sao Paulo

São Paulo is one of the richest cities south of the equator, and is also the biggest Brazilian city. Home to many immigrants, it is one of the most diverse places in the world. São Paulo is also often called Sampa.

São Paulo boasts three major airports: Guarulhos International and Viracopos for international flights, and Congonhas for domestic flights within a 1,000 km radius. (There is also a fourth airport, Campo de Marte, but it is only used for executive jets, air taxis, helicopters, etc., and not any commercial flights.) Guarulhos International Airport is the most used of the three commercial airports and is sometimes referred to as Cumbica.
