Silverjet announces new route from Luton to Dubai

Business class airline Silverjet have announced today that from November 2007 it will commence flights from London Luton airport to Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Silverjet have short listed several destinations for its third second international route (with London Luton to Newark, New York being the first) and chose Dubai as its one of the world's fastest developing destinations for travellers.

With flights on sale from today starting from £1099 return, the business-class only flights have superior quality and comfort. Each of the 100 seats converts into a 6ft 3inch bed; passengers can enjoy quick boarding at a dedicated private terminal in Luton; specially designed inflight menus - all of which add up to a superior service.

Passengers will be able to choose from a variety of culturally designed menus with Halal menus, Arabic menus and Qibla service. There is also a female only toilet to accommodate the passengers from the United Arab Emirates. All Silverjet staff flying the London to Dubai route will have received guidance in cultural awareness.

Bookings can be made for the Luton to Dubai route online at the Silverjet website. Prices start from £1099 including taxes for a return flight.

The flights are due to depart from Luton Airport at 21:00 and arrive in Dubai at 08:30. Flights returning from Dubai to London Luton will leave Dubai at 10.30 and arrive at Luton at 14:45. All times are local times.
