More Emirates flights to Saudia Arabia from Dubai during Ramadan

Thursday 20 September 2007 8:25 PM
Saudia Arabia often has over 5 million pilgrims visiting the Kingdom during the month of Ramadan and with immediate effect, the award winning Emirates Airline will be flying 10 additional flights a week between Dubai and Jeddah.

Running between 20th September and 12th October, the additional flights will be for those holding Umrah visas. People without these visas will be able to fly on any of Emirates' regular scheduled flights.

Emirates have worked closely with Saudi Arabia authorites for permission to be granted on these additional flights. Demand from those wanting to travel to Jeddah for Ramadan continues to grow year-on-year and a spokesperson for Emirates said they are pleased to be able to provide travel arrangements for pilgrims.
