Wizz Air to handle future growth with 50 new aircraft

In the highly competitive environment of provide cheap flights, Eastern Europe based Wizz Air have placed an order for 50 new Airbus A320 aircraft to be delivered over the next 7 years. The airline has also put an option for 25 other aircraft.

Wizz Air has demonstrated exceptional growth in the last few years - and in a competitive market with market giants easyJet and Ryanair making it difficult for new airlines to succeed.

However, Wizzair have continued to grow and the new aircraft orders will help the airline to continue to be a market leader. The existing A320 aircraft have helped the airline keep a low-cost base and maintain high operational reliability across its fleet - both of which rate highly on customer satisfaction.

Wizz Air uses the A320 aircraft with a 180 seat configuration - all in a single class - economy.
