Sterling Airlines open seventh base at Malmo in Sweden

Commencing in March 2008, Sterling Airlines will operate two Boeing 737 aircraft from Malmo in Sweden.

This new base number seven for the airline is the third base outside Denmark where Sterling Airlines will operates five new routes to London, Barcelona, Alicante, Florence and Nice.

After only just celebrating its second birthday, Sterling Airlines now flies to 20 European countries and to 41 cities within Europe.

The airline's existing bases at Copenhagen, Billund and Aalborg in Denmark, Oslo in Norway and Stockholm and Gothenberg in Sweden provide over 100 routes across Europe to its leisure and business customers.

Sterling Airlines is Denmark's first cheap flight airline (or commonly known as LCC - Low Cost Carrier) and flying both charter and scheduled flights.
