Flybe starts a spend and fly credit card

Friday 12 October 2007 8:39 AM
Starting in January 2008, Flybe will offer a "spend and fly" credit card which will be tied into the airline's "rewards4all" frequent flyer programme.

Although Flybe has been around for many years and even before Ryanair, easyjet and the whole "low cost carrier" term was coined.

The airline has in recent years been trying to edge into the cheap flight or "low frills" market. It has bases across the UK with the main bases being in Manchester, Birmingham, Belfast, Southampton and Exeter.

The new credit card is hoped to increase customer loyalty in the highly competitive cheap flight market.
