Air Berlin commence flights from Stansted to Munich

German budget airline, Air Berlin, will start twice daily flights from London Stansted to Munich Airport on 5th November 2007.

The German airline announced the new route as the 9th UK destination from Germany with the airline and the route has been eagerly awaited by Air Berlin customers.

The twice daily service will operate on weekdays, while at weekends the service will reduce to once per day.

Air Berlin is Europe's third largest cheap flight airline - behind Ryanair and easyJet. The airline carries over 20 million passengers each year with routes from the UK to many major German destinations including Berlin, Munich, Dusseldorf, Hanover, Leipzig and Nurembourg.

The airline also has over 350 daily flights to destinations across Europe, Scandanavia and North Africa
