New hotel planned at Aberdeen Airport

Sunday 25 November 2007 10:35 PM
Aberdeen Airport is Scotland's fastest growing airport and a new £15 million, 180 bedroom hotel has been announced for a site within walking distance of the airport.

The hotel will also have conference facilities and is expected to be a centre for meetings between passengers and business people.

The hotel will be part of the Marriot hotel chain and will be similar to the one currently being built at Gatwick Airport in London.

The hotel is expected to generate jobs for the local economy as well as helping to help Aberdeen Airport to continue to grow in the future.

Aberdeen Airport carries over 3 million passengers each year to over 40 destinations.
