Malta The Newest Vacation Hot Spot Now Has More Flights Being Offered

Additional flights have been scheduled to accommodate a greater number of tourist expected for a less expensive summer holiday as the resort isle of Malta becomes more in demand.

This desired location will have more flights than ever with the addition of BMI Baby and EasyJet to those carriers already servicing Malta.

Beginning in June of 2010 there will be new flights originating from Liverpool, England from John Lennon Airport from EasyJet - they will offer two flights weekly flying directly to the island nation.

In May 2009, EasyJet announced a new flight schedule of two flights per week from Newcastle to Malta in response to additional demand.

Flying on Saturdays and Tuesdays, airplanes will leave East Midlands Airport on a summer schedule with BMI Baby, beginning on May 29th, 2010.

Flying to London Heathrow 3 times each day, along with flights to Birmingham and Gatwick during the week, Air Malta, the national airline of the island, will continue its schedule to the United Kingdom.
