New Crowne Plaza hotels open in London and Paris

Wednesday 13 May 2009 1:57 PM

Travellers planning city breaks in London or Paris this year will be able to stay in two new Crowne Plaza hotels.

The Crowne Plaza Paris Republique opened on April 2nd, while the Crowne Plaza London Kensington opened on April 21st.

The Paris Republique is close to the Republique metro station and within minutes of a number of the city’s main tourist attractions. The Republique is one of five Crowne Plaza hotels in France and the second in Paris.

The London Kensington is opposite Gloucester Road tube station and offers a meeting centre with five rooms, 20 split-level guest suites and other facilities.

A spokesman from the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), Kirk Kinsell, said: "With their high levels of comfort, service and facilities, these two new properties will certainly help our guests enjoy a productive stay when visiting Paris and London."

IHG also recently announced an agreement with Tiger Developments in March that will see a new InterContinental hotel open in Edinburgh in 2013.
