Thursday 1 May 2008 10:16 PM
Virgin Atlantic's Clubhouse lounges are aimed at providing those passengers flying upper or first class with that extra personal touch and pampering.

Heathrow Airport's Clubhouse lounge now offers beauty therapy services for passengers flying upper class - but it was scrapped its inflight beauty services.

Lyell Strambi from Virgin Atlantic said [quote] "We continually review and adapt the product we are investing in to ensure it reflects what is most valued by our customers,"... "As a result of the review, we are increasing the number of beauty therapists working at the Heathrow Clubhouse".

With a high demand from primarily female passengers, although its not unheard of for men to use the beauty therapy services too. The number of treatments are expected to increase by up to 70% and more beauty therapists will be employed at the Heathrow Clubhouse.

Virgin Atlantic other clubs houses are based in major city airport around the world including London Gatwick, Boston, JFK, Newark, Washington, San Francisco, Johannesburg, Tokyo and Hong Kong.
