The best airlines in Europe

In a survey by Capital, a German magazine, Europe's top airlines have been announced.

The top three airlines, which they put all in joint first place were: Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines and Swiss International Airlines.

Both Lufthansa and Swiss were also in the top 10 international airlines and have both increased their European services in recent months with both airlines adding more frequent flights on busy routes.

Destinations that have had additional flights are Geneva to London City, Frankfurt to Bristol, Vienna to London and Innsbruck to London.

All three airlines operate many daily flights across Europe and internationally across the world.
