New York to Liverpool flights a bit quiet with Flyglobespan

Monday 28 May 2007 2:32 PM
Launching today is the Liverpool Airport to New York route with Flyglobespan.

The outbound UK to US part of the route has shown strong demand with the majority of outward journeys being full or almost full.

However, the return part of the trip hasn't yet proved as popular with the first week's return flights estimated to be just over 50% full.

Scotland based Flyglobespan's spokesman said that they expect the return route to take a bit longer to become full and that it can take some time.

Flying Abroad comments: The initial few weeks of any new route, especially where its into a new airport or where its quite costly to fly, can take time to fill up - but once word gets out, its normal for the capacity to be filled up.
