Flybe see improvement on Isle of Man to Gatwick route

In March 2007, Flybe took over the Isle of Man to Gatwick route from BA Connect. Since this date, they have been passenger numbers increase by over 17% in April with the better numbers looking to remain consistent for months to come.

Mike Rutter of Flybe said [quote] "'When we took over BA Connect's services on the Isle of Man we said the acquisition would enable us to build a bigger and stronger airline, increase opportunities to develop routes and encourage further business to the area. In just one month we have turned an ailing route into a successful one."
