Aer Arann starts new Galway to Newcastle route

Starting on 25th June 2007, Irish based Aer Arann starts flights from Galway, Ireland to Newcastle, England.

Ticket prices start at 40 euros one way for the route including taxes and this new UK flight brings the number of Aer Arann routes from Ireland to the UK to 23.

Other new routes include Waterford to France, Cork and Kerry to Nantes, Bristol and Cardiff.

Aer Arann spokesman Colin Lewis said [Quote] "to these major UK cities and greater choice for business and leisure passengers in the regions. We look forward to working with the regional airports to develop these services."
