Planned British Airways BA strike dates

Tuesday 16 March 2010 9:08 PM
The BA strike is currently stilled planned to occur, starting on the 20th March 2010 and ending on the 22nd March 2010 (inclusive). Importantly, BA has assured passengers that 60% or more of passengers with flights scheduled during the strike period will continue to operate as normal.

But how do you know if you are affected? BA has indicated on their website that "all flights to and from London City, all longhaul flights to and from London Gatwick and all flights operated by our franchise, codeshare and alliance partners will continue to operate normally". However, our advice is if you are travelling on those days, phone before leaving for the airport, either on the morning of he flight or late in the previous evening. Its also worth catering extra time for check-in, as there may be additional delays when you arrive at the airport.

BA have also indicated that any flights cancelled during the strike period can be rebooked at no extra fee.

Flyingabroad.co.uk offers alternatives airlines to British Airways, please select your destination from the menu on the left to ascertain which other airlines operate on that route.
