London to Tel Aviv in Israel flights started with bmi

Israel is seeing an increased demand from non-jewish tourists and other budget airlines have mentioned the prospect of flying to Tel Aviv in the near future.

UK's bmi airline has now started a regular daily non-stop flight from London's Heathrow Airport to the Tel Aviv in Israel.

Nigel Turner from bmi said that advanced bookings for the new route was above expectations, and that Tel Aviv was a key destination for the airline. [quote] "Its addition further enhances our ever-growing network of destinations in an area of economic growth and development" he said.

The departure times of the flight from the UK has been timed to fit in with connection flights of bmi from regional airports such as Manchester and Leeds-Bradford.

bmi is looking to add additional flights between London and Israel in the near future.
