Bmi's existing Edinburgh to Copenhagen service is extremely popular and the airline has announced a third flight to the service taking the total number of Bmi flights between the two cities to 18 each week. The additional flight will commence on 21st July.

The airline will also increase the number of connections to Helsinki and Tokyo and travellers flying from places such as Oslo and Istanbul in Turkey will be able to connect via Copenhagen when flying to Edinburgh.

bmi's commercial director said [quote] "By adding an extra service to our Edinburgh-Copenhagen route we are able to open up connections to many additional international destinations for our Scotland-based business and leisure customers. "

The wide choice of destinations offered by bmi gives passengers a wide range of choices for holidays, weekend breaks or even for business travel.

Bmi has the envious title of the UK's most punctual airline according to the UK's Civil Aviation Authority.
