Ryanair getting ready for cheap flights to America
Thursday 14 June 2007 1:32 AM
Following the tradition of European flights, Michael O'Leary CEO of Ryanair wants to offer flights to the US for less than £10.With the transatlantic routes no longer open to all, Michael O'Leary is on the lookout for cheap aircraft to buy to operate the route. The regent SARS epidemic in Asia had a knock-on affect worldwide on travel - with airlines being hit. The Ryanair CEO has said that any downturn in the market will make available aircraft at discounted prices - allowing him to fulfil his dream of transatlantic cheap flights. Ryanair still continue to expand their European destinations and they are in talks with several Polish airports with a view to expanding there and offering more central and easter Europe flights - to compete more directly with Wizzair.
