New beans for Cardiff Airport

Friday 15 June 2007 8:23 AM
South Wales passengers wanting to fly abroad from a local airport don't have many options, and many opt to fly from Bristol Airport which offers a wider variety of destinations than Cardiff Airport.

New cheap flight airline, Flyforbeans are aiming to launch flights from Cardiff to Europe in Autumn 2007.

Managing Director of Flyforbeans, Tim Lee, said that there are about 20 business and leisure destinations across Europe that currently aren't catered for from Cardiff Airport.

bmibaby are currently the biggest carrier at Cardiff Airport - but Flyforbeans are confident that there is plenty of room for growth.

Passengers are demanding airlines serve more and more destinations across Europe and the insatiable appetite British travellers have for cheap flights to Europe doesn't look to be diminishing
