Air France announces new flights from Birmingham and Bristol to France

Starting on 3rd September 2007, Air France will start twice daily flights from Birmingham, England to Lyon, France. Ticket prices start at £139 return.

Also starting from 11th June 2007, Air France will launch a new three times a day service between Bristol Airport and Paris Charles de Gaulle.

The Charles de Gaulle Airport is a major hub with passengers then being able to connect onwards to the rest of the world, including Asia, North and South America and Africa.

Air France's UK and Ireland General Manager said [Quote] "Our decision to operate this service from Bristol International Airport is a significant part of our strategy of providing access to Paris and the Air France network from the UK regions. I am convinced that this route will be a success.".

As passengers can combine fares and routes on both the KLM and Air France networks, this opens up even more available destinations with ticket prices kept low.
