easyJet winter flights on sale

Friday 17 July 2009 7:23 AM

Budget airline easyJet has put its Christmas and winter flights from London Gatwick Airport on sale early, with some extra services to popular destinations.

There will be two services a day to both Zurich and Vienna from Gatwick, and three flights a day to Munich.

Winter sports enthusiasts can book their tickets to Geneva now, while winter sunshine seekers can book flights to destinations including Palma and Alicante.

Paul Simmons, easyJet's regional manager in the UK, announced that this year's sale is the earliest ever launch of a winter schedule by the airline.

“While most of us are eagerly awaiting our summer holiday, we know that people want to escape the doom and gloom of the credit crunch and book their important holidays now; such as their ski break or Christmas holiday,” Mr Simmons commented.

In other news, easyJet will extend its range of summer services from London Gatwick this year, with additional flights to Bodrum, Mykonos, Toulouse and other destinations being launched on 17 July.
