Flybe looks to attract business travellers

Tuesday 29 July 2008 11:28 AM

The airline has invested over £2 million over the last year to attract business travellers with a number of incentives offered including loyalty rewards scheme and other incentives normally associated with traditional airlines such as British Airways.

Business class and also economy plus customers are able to utilise the Flybe lounges at selected airports - including Newcastle.

Various elements of ground services from check-in to baggage handling are also being made more efficient as economic constraints make travellers less keen to actually travel - from leisure travellers through to business-class travellers.

Online check-in and self service check-in at airports make flying easier business travellers who often prefer a more streamlined service with less queues and hastles especially if they are regular travellers.

Flybe is also looking to introduce mobile phone check-in soon which is expected to have a high-uptake.
