bmibaby diamond club for frequent flyers

Sunday 22 July 2007 11:21 PM
Hopefully starting a new trend, bmibaby have announced the bmibaby frequent flyer programme.

Low cost or cheap flight airlines normally operate on a few pounds profit per passenger so offering anything for free is extremely rare - hence no free meals on these type of flights and often being charged for essentials such as taking luggage onboard.

bmibaby though are offering a reward programme where you gain "miles" depending on your flight price. So for a one-way flight price of £100, you can earn 900 miles.

You can spend your miles to fly to over 850 destinations across the world through the bmi network. 9000 miles (which from their figures is about 8 return flights with bmibaby) will allow you to fly anywhere within Europe free for one flight.

120,000 miles gets you a flight in economy class to Sydney or 240,000 for business class.
