Frankfurt to Bergen with Lufthansa

Sunday 20 January 2008 11:31 AM
In March, German based Lufthansa will start a twice-daily service between Frankfurt in Germany and Bergen in Norway.

Bergen is the third most popular destination in Norway outside of Oslo and Stavanger - both of which are currently serviced by Lufthansa from Frankfurt.

A spokesman from Lufthansa said [quote] “With the new service to Bergen, we are linking one of the most important economic centres and attractive tourist regions in Norway to our largest hub in Frankfurt,”

With this new twice a day service, Lufthansa will offer 111 flights a week to Norway with additional seasonal summer flights also adding to this number. The summer seasonal service will operate from Hamburg in Germany to Bergen, Norway and will operate twice a week.

Lufthansa is Germany's biggest airline providing both short and long haul flights across the world. Lufthansa is also part of the Star Alliance.
