Flybe credit card launches with a free flight offer if you spend 1p with it

Friday 25 January 2008 2:15 PM
Flybe's new "spend & fly" credit card has recently been launched which offers cardholders a free flight if they spend 1p or more on the credit card in the first 12 months.

The free flight can be a return flight anywhere within Flybe's network of 162 routes.

The new card is also part of the airline's frequent flier programme so any money spent on the card also helps acrue points - which can also be redeemed against flights.

Points can be accumulated on whatever purchased - even Flybe flights. Purchases of approximately £4000 would generate enough points for a free flight. easyJet's equivalent credit card requires £6000 to be spent to earn a free flight.

Mike Rutter from Flybe said [quote] "The Flybe MasterCard is our latest product innovation which directly benefits our customers, adds value to the company as a whole and defines our intention to continue pioneering industry innovation we have in other areas. No other airline can rival us in terms of both sign up benefits and the generosity of our ongoing spend programme. These factors, combined with our frequent flyer rewards, are together proving a very strong differentiator with real consumer benefits in what is a crowded market."
