New Liverpool to Ibiza service from Ryanair

Saturday 21 February 2009 1:03 PM

Low-cost airline Ryanair has announced that it will add Ibiza to its route network from Liverpool John Lennon airport with flights starting at the end of March.

The new flight service will operate three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 30th March 2009.

The Head of PR for the Peel Airports Group, Robin Tudor, commented:"At this difficult time for the economy and aviation as a whole, it is particularly pleasing to see Ryanair further their commitment to the Airport and the North West by continuing to develop their business here at JLA. As we all look forward to warmer weather, we expect this sunshine destination to prove popular with a cross section of passengers."

Ryanair’s Sales and Marketing Manager, John Booty, added: "Ryanair is delighted to announce this new service from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Ibiza. This is a fantastic sunshine route and we expect seats to be snapped up fast."
